We are a part of the universal Church of Jesus Christ, seeking to be faithful to the message of God’s revelation to us in the Scripture. We believe that the Bible reveals to us the only way of salvation in Jesus Christ our Lord. We also believe that the Bible is the only infallible rule of faith and practice in the Church of Jesus Christ, in the home, and in all of society. Westminster is a “Reformed” church; that is, we seek to continue in the faithful heritage of the Protestant Reformation. The name “Presbyterian” comes from the Biblical term for “elder”, and indicates that we are governed under Christ by a plurality of elders who are chosen by Christ, the Head of His Church, and acknowledged by His people.
